Angelia Hairston and Marilyn Williams are both single Moms. Angelia lives in Atlanta Georgia, and Marilyn in Memphis Tennessee. Angelia manages Managed Care at a metropolitan hospital, and Marilyn is a 6th grade Guidance Counselor. Both ladies know how to appreciate a break, and they both know how to treat people, especially "GIRLFRIENDS".

Both women found their paradise on earth when they visited Jamaica in 1999, and have returned many times. Although Marilyn and Angelia did not know each other prior to going to Jamaica, it is out of their love and unquenchable thirst for more knowledge of this beautiful island that they found each other and "Girlfriend Tours International" was born. Marilyn and Angie wanted to show women how traveling alone can be a wonderful experience. They found that part of what makes most women happy is something to be enthusiastic about, and what better incentive than Jamaica? "Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing," says Helen Keller and both women believe this with their whole hearts.

They screen each group carefully to provide the most congenial mix possible.
